Was just at the Yankee game and everyone sang god bless America and the national anthem. Everyone stood and had hand over heart.

Then on the train home 2 guys were swearing at each other in a republican/democrat arguement.

You're confused. Singing God Bless America and our Anthem has nothing to do with two guys arguing politics.

I respect your faith. I'm just afraid of eternity. I want to just be in peace as nothing. No more pain, as I hope these individuals that passed don't have to feel anymore. I'd trade to bring back a mother, father, daughter, son, et cetera that is making any family feel so much pain right now. Hate that I keep hearing these stories of good people taken away.

yeah, the people that dont stand up for the anthem are 'unpatriotic' and 'unamerican'

they are being told that they are unpatriotic and antiamerican by the same people that send american men and women to die invading foreign lands so that they can line their pockets

at least they are getting something out of it, but the average people that fall into their trap of branding people as unpatriotic for not falling in line, they disgust me more

this is the norm when this song is played, outside of the nfl players kneeling, people always come through and stand together
