Which is why most companies have dress codes. The NBA had to have a dress code as well. But, the anthem is different because you are stepping on someone's civil liberties if you force them to stand, kneel, pray. That's when it becomes unconstitutional.

This is so easy to solve but too many people like to fight instead of compromising. We're dealing with huge egos where no one now wants to back down. The president, league and players could easily solve this in a few minutes and still save face.

Locking arms with all teammates during the Anthem is still a show of defiance and a disruption.... They should stop that as well and I'm sure the NBA players may copy what the NFL players are still doing now.

Locking arms is still garbage during the National Anthem.. Players are still SOB's and can't let it go...

How is locking arms defiance? You first want them to stand, now you don't want them to embrace? WTH? Should they all stand back to back? Geez

So you mean to tell me, you're going to be rustled if an entire stadium was standing, embracing each other at the Olympics? Some of you are totally missing the point of being an American.

No one locks arms during the Anthem.. That's the issue, it's something new.. Just protest at another time.. Leave the one minute National Anthem alone.. How hard is that to do?

and I ask again. Are you going to be upset if an entire stadium embraces at the Olympics?

I'm sure you would be upset when the first woman carried the US flag in 1972?? How dare they do something that is new?

The NBA is exercising their absolute right to enforce a long standing rule that they have.

It's unbelievable that some posters are still confusing this issue with something like religious freedoms.

They are not the same and employees don't have these "rights" that the media and some posters insist that they have. It's not about constitutional right, it never was.

The NBA sent a memo out saying they will enforce a rule they've always had.

There is no story here, just another example of how the activists are messing up their own cause with poorly conducted activism and how main stream media viewers continue to eat the drivel they are fed.

It's time for these dumbass threads to die already, they are leading to some very poor and ignorant posting.

                    Unreal.

Hugging, kissing, locking arms or what ever is still not respectable during the anthem. You are suppose to stand, honor the flag and put your hand on your heart.. That's the American tradition..

Instead now an entire football team are locking arms and the people still know it's a form of protest..It's a distraction still.. Selfish players suck...

Spin it how you want MAC but that's the way I see it.. It's still a protest display by all the team players and coaches. American patriots and paying fans no what's up and still don't like it...
