I actually feel responsible for this. Adams caught a TD pass early on against me in fantasy football and I said out loud I hope guy gets taken out of the game. Fuk, that was brutal, I feel terrible now.

Mac, I know it wasn't my fault but after seeing that I might not sleep tonight. Jesus, that was totally uncalled for and the guy that made that hit should be fined and suspended. He meant to do harm there and that is not okay.

Oh, he will be getting a payslip shortly. Suspension and big fine is certainly coming.

He has movement in his extremities, which means he'll be okay. Football is violent and you are always 1 play away from your last. Technology is getting better and sports medicine is getting smarter. I got concussed so bad 1 game I was throwing up chunks. Coaches put me back out there until they realized I couldn't see straight. I still have excess cartilage in my jaw from that hit. I'm trying hard to steer my son away from football.

wow you have all been brainwashed by the media. you cheer knockouts in boxing/mma but think its bad in football. football is basically ruined with all the penalties they have added over the last couple of decades. if anything they should have taken away pass interference since everyone always complains about that as its a judgement call. just let the receivers and cornerbacks fight it out.

I think the NFL has become a joke with all the penalties, and not being able to touch anyone anymore. But, this was completely different. Could have killed the dude.

That was a brutal hit but I don't think Trevathan was actually trying to hurt him. I believe him when he said he was trying to make a play. Unfortunately, he didn't see what he was hitting like you're taught and that was a vicious hit as a result. He'll likely get a hefty fine and possibly even suspended by the league for that one.

He may not have been trying to hurt him, but it comes off like he was pissed off and tried to hit someone as hard as possible. Happened to be a guy who was already stopped, and completely defenseless. Was a bitch move to take out his anger.
