He said he expects " his players to stand". He also passed a rule saying players will be fined for resting in certain situations. This guy realized quickly that being too friendly with the players will backfire long term.

See my comparison between the two commissioners is that silver started off being nice with the players but he is now realizing that they are taking advantage of him so he quickly fixed some things.
