Owners did have a tough decision to make, stand against your players and you alienate them, fire them and you then have a crappy product on the field and lose ticket sales.. The business decision was to side with the players to keep them playing.. Players are now playing for an owner they like and respect.. I get all that..

Still the NFL and ratings will drop further and the owners and league will take a hit for not stomping this out with Kaepernick for making a protest and political statement during the Nation Anthem from the start 2 years ago.. Should have laid down the law then and put an end to it..
