Watson is an upgrade over Savage but Houston is still not in the same league as the Patriots. Odds of Patriots losing back-to-back home games seems slim. I wouldn't lay -1000 but I still think Patriots cover the spread by picking apart the Texans defense with dink and dunk passing.

-1000 is stupid for any NFL game due to the injury risk at the QB position. Say Tom blows out his ACL, and it's not like they are going to refund your money if you lose.

If you are going to bet -1000 and higher odds, it better be in live betting where you already have a big lead and can tell from how the game is going that it would take a miracle to lose.

But a -1000 before a game? No way. If the Texans just score a FG on their 1st possession that line would move to -500 or better. A -1000 ML is just a bad use of value betting. It's high risk with no value.
