Can someone explain what a coach is thinking when he runs the ball 2 straight times when they're down two scores and they have no running game? Giants did this all night. Eli had one down to get 10 yards and would invariably fail. So the decision to run it again on 2nd down basically forfeited the possession.

Can anyone explain the thinking here? Is it just to make the loss not as bad? Are coaches really that cowardly?

Probably was trying to save Eli from getting killed. Every time he went back to throw he was getting pressured. His receivers sucked ass, couldn't get open and dropped passes anyway, so what's the use?
