These teams also don't have a clue when to take a timeout either. 2 and 4 for ND and Boston College takes a time out on defense. Why would they do that??? I don't care where ND is on the field with a minute left.

College and NFL are both horrible managing the clock, when to go for 2, etc. I don't understand why teams don't hire guys from the engineering school that can run simulations and give them game in advice. Saban seems to be the only guy in CFB that hires a shit load of people just to do analytics.Comment -

Memphis went for a fake FG with 2 minutes and change left in the game. They were up 3, should have kicked the FG, then bury UCLA with the kickoff. They lose the points and the ball, with only a FG needed to tie them. Luckily the Bruins chocked but it was obviously the wrong decision.Comment -

Get used to it fellas. These guys are doing a job, get paid at their position more than most of you get paid at yours, and because you don't understand the job at hand, you will always be confused and assume the coach is just terrible.
Let it go or don't be so naive.
The best advice I can give is to handicap all games so you can follow the money, maybe you'll gain some understanding.

Anybody catch the last minute of the Chargers/Dolphins game? What a bunch of idiots on both sides. Chargers totally confused with about 10 seconds to go in the game. River's was going to spike the ball but the kicking team came out on the field with no timeouts left. Stupid Miami calls a timeout for them to let them have a chance to kick the FG. WTF? Then their dumb ass kicker misses the kick anyway. That was unreal. How does that happen in a professional game???

The Chargers were lucky to even get the attempt off. If it wasn’t for Adam Gase’s odd timeout to bail out Los Angeles, the time may have ran out as the kicking unit ran onto the field while Philip Rivers was getting the team lined up to spike the ball. Los Angeles had no timeouts and a 10-second run-off would have ended the game had the refs flagged it for too many men on the field.Comment -
