in Minnesota was hard. Now they will be all-out, you know
with the Pats going down to the Big Easy, New Orleans
may have even been "looking ahead".

Patriots have weaknesses. Brady can be targeted.
The OL is a little shaky. Their pass rush is not established.
If Alex Smith can connect with 2 passes over 75 yards
(a first ever) at Foxboro, what's Drew Brees going to do ?
Brees is a 350 yard threat against anyone. He may hit upper 400s.
Place will be rocking. Home opener. Gronk is not 100%. His 100%
is not 100% either. Hogan is no Edelman.

The value is in Saints Moneyline. around 250

p.s. other games I like: Bengals at the previous line or ML
Cowboys to win at Denver, Chargers over Miami.. etc..

I'd rather take the ML at 250 than the points at -110.

I truly think this is the game that is going to dictate the Pats season. Are they the same Pats or no? I personally think no so I'm inclined to jump on the Saints today. However, one of my golden rules of betting is never bet against Bellichick or Saban so I'm on the sideline here.

That being said, Brady is 40 years old. I don't care how much he says "I'm in such great shape and I feel like I'm 30", he's still 40 and there's something about that number that seems to signal the beginning of the end for qbs. Plus the Edelman injury (coupled now with Amendola's injury) is a killer and the defense just isn't the same. I do think there's concern for the Pats this year, but I wouldn't call it panic yet.

Pat's will play better on defense in week 2 and so will the Saints, but both of these teams will need their offense to carry them in week 2 to get a win. You got Brees at home versus Brady on the road with missing pieces on offense. I'll take my chances with Brees at him. Pats drop to 0-2.
