A few items from the technical side. I am not on this game so I could care less who wins it. First, UCLA is 2-9 ATS in their first three games of the season since 2014. They will be looking ahead to next week when they to go Stanford in Stanford's home opener. UCLA has not defeated Stanford since 2009 so this will definitely weigh on their mind. Uceless is also 2-9 ATS vs non-con opponents in the last 3+ years. They are 0-6 ATS after a double digit ATS win.

Memphis is 2-8 ATS in the first of back to back home games. They are also 0-4 ATS after scoring 35 or more points in their previous game. As you can see, there is not much good to write about either team. I do not like wagering om a game to see who the worst team is. pass.

Meaning what exactly? They've played one game in a car wash... not a whole lot to glean from that.

What I do know is that they return 8 starters on what was a pretty prolific offense last year, including senior quarterback Riley Ferguson. They were 106th in defense last year... no reason to believe these two teams will have trouble scoring.

They have Rosen and that offense is clicking since the 2nd half of the Texas A&M game +
Memphis D line is tiny the Nose tackle is 275 and their D tackle is 265 and Ucla has some big boys on that O-line 310 ish a piece ... that's a lot of weight to give up.

They can't drop safety into the box because I've seen ULM pass for 279 and 2 TDs I think ULM also got 100 on the ground.

I'm pretty sure UCLA is going to drop 50 on them. Interesting to see how Memphis try to defend.

They aren't big enough up front but do they dare trying to drop men in the box and man up against Rosen no safety help?

I actually like the Tigers in this game. UCLA can score, but they can also give up a crapload of points, and Memphis' offense is good enough to go up and down the field on them, especially on their home turf. Heck any offense is good enough to up and down on UCLA's pathetic defense. Gonna be a shootout but I'll take Memphis +4 on their home field.
