Nice Sunday! GL on your teaser.

Last week I got back into it after 6 years not betting on sports. I'm working on developing my teaser strategy. I had too many teasers which got killed by big chalk. A 14 point 15 game teaser that was 13 wins and 1 push in CFB Saturday. Then I decided to fill the last game with Denver +1. A flawed strategy without adequate research. Soon as I watched the 1st Q I released I should have taken NYG +27.

@Eastvan....i wish you good luck my friend...I normally play dogs on my teasers and have had tremendous success doing it for years....especially in the NFL...it's almost like taking candy from a baby...and don't be afraid to cross the "0"...that is another falsehood...it's much more important to be on the winning side than the "right" side......a perfect example of this was the KC/Pitt game...


PS...I was thinking about doing a 7 teamer and adding Texas(+20.5) and Ole Miss (+20) but decided against it...I also strongly considered Oklahoma (+0.5) against Kansas ST...but discretion being the better part of valor I decided to stick my best bets and not get greedy!...

Thanks @ Da Manster! won't be afraid to cross the zero with small favorites. 5 is a nice size for a teaser. I'll reduce my teasers to a smaller number of games as I need to rebuild my small bankroll.

I'm talking about your record-keeping units.

If you have a five unit play, at -120, and you win, you get +5 units.

If you have a five unit play, at -120, and you lose, you should get -6 units, not -5.

well I normally round off to the nearest unit...like if my (+115) wager hits this week, I will only count it as a (+3 unit) win even though I won an extra $15 per unit or in this case $45 since its a 3 unit play...at the end of the day, I'm either ahead or behind "x" amount of units plus or minus juice...

...basically the strategy that I use...4 or 5 best plays on the board and then tease them...once in a while, there might be like 7 or 8 teams that you really love...I've hit those long shots as well but it only takes one team to screw it up so you are much better off sticking to the minimum # of teams possible...

The sharp forecast says Washington wins 31-28. The sharp forecast predicts the upset and is 2-3 predicting upsets this week.

The stacking forecast has Philly winning 28-17. The thing is, the stacking forecast was wrong on the moneyline on Thursday, it had KC, but has been right against the moneyline since; it is 12-1 against the moneyline this week.

In my opinion, there is actually some room here for Washington to get the win.
