Fox host’s teen son dies after his dismissal
The teenage son of fired Fox News host Eric Bolling dies shortly after he is fired over sexual harassment.
The announcement was initially made by HuffPost reporter Yashar Ali in a tweet on Saturday.
“Very sad news, Eric Bolling’s son, who was only 19, died last night. By all accounts, Eric was incredibly devoted to his son. Heartbreaking,” said Ali, who is being sued by Eric Bolling for $50 million for damages in relation with his reporting of sexual harassment allegations.
The former host later took to Twitter to confirm the news, yet stressing that details are not yet clear.
"Adrienne and I are devastated by the loss of our beloved son Eric Chase last night. Details still unclear. Thoughts, prayers appreciated."
The media outlet also released a statement via it spokesman
"We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Eric Bolling's son,” the spokesperson said in a statement. "Eric Chase was a wonderful young man and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bolling family."
Fox News host Sean Hannity also offered condolences to Bolling and his family, saying, "To my dear friend, please know we all love you, will be here for you and your family.”
