Buckeyes thrashed Oklahoma at Norman last year, and having no Big 12 championship, it ruined any chance Oklahoma had of making playoffs.

Indiana hung with OSU until they gassed out. Does Oklahoma have the talent?

OSU will probably smash OU again. OU defense always shit and the Sooners never win any game that actually matters.

OU is always a much better team as an underdog when no one gives them a chance.
Florida State in the National title game...Big underdog and they win.
Alabama in the Sugar Bowl...Big underdog and they win.
Oklahoma State and Baylor on the road in recent years, etc.
You want to fade OU when they're expected to do something and back them when they aren't.

Over over over!!
Buckeyes clearly vulnerable in their secondary, no surprise considering they lost 3 guys to the NFL. If Hoosiers can pass all over you I'd expect mayfield to hang a pretty big number.
The other noticeable thing from last week was that buckeyes have a lot more speed and skill around Barrett this season. Should be big plays to be had all over in this game. I like both teams to score 30+ rather easily.

only way its not a shootout is if OSU just dominates the line and gives mayfield no time to throw.

The only question is can OU stop OSU's rush offense? Because that is all OSU has. OSU's pass offense and pass defense are average at best. Stack the box and stop QB runs and force Barrett to beat you and OU has a shot. I'm just not sure their defense can stop OSU pounding the rock???
My gut says OU first half but OSU for the win, just not sure by how much.

I def considered that but my thinking is mayfield moves and rolls out extremely well so while I do expect there are times the buckeyes front makes plays and gets off the field I think Sooners outta be able to do some things w rollouts and such or mayfield himself can just buy time to make plenty of plays.

I think osu passing attack much improved. Seem to have lot more playmakers on the outside than last year.

Another thing while yes tOsu dline is elite I think, Sooners do have a lot of big beef up front, think their oline averages something like 320 across the board!

As a Sooner fan, I'm worried about our run defense.
I think OU can go toe to toe everywhere else.
OUs front seven is the weak link of this team. They need to play from ahead and force Ohio State to pass.

Oklahoma is beating themselves. I might take them live in the 2nd half if they can correct some mistakes. They've been moving the ball well on the buckeyes

OU totally dominating the field but not the scoreboard. They're starting to pop 7-8 yd runs up the middle though. They're almost golden for the playoff if they win this game!

I was just thinking about this and waiting to see what the buckeyes first second-half possession looks like because they get the ball first, but I pulled the trigger already and took Oklahoma +3 1/2. If the buckeyes don't have a good first possession to start the second half I think the books are going to Adjust the spread

Oklahoma is dominating the game, but only has a FG to show for their effort.
