Just caught the local 6 o'clock news. Understandably they opened with the latest on Irma . Went straight to Miami area and told the story of a family from the Carolinas that got cancelled on a cruise to Cuba. Poor guy, around 30-35 was saying : We tried really hard to evacuate, but couldn't find anything. No flights out of the area, no rental cars, no Grayhounds or trains. So... THEY BOUGHT A ... CAR ... and got the hell out of Dodge.

Man it's eerie. My son is driving down from Tallahassee as we speak and telling me one side of the road is literally a parking lot and I'm driving 70 mph going the other way.
