I don't know KLC, if they don't let the crook sue for being caught in a bear trap, which they probably would (like here in Cali), then it sends a strong message to potential thieves.

Hell, a bunch of rat traps and can't get in trouble at least. Fill the ceiling with bricks that fall when a string is touched. So much fun to be had at the expense of these scum. Break my window, and some 50 pound boulders come swinging. Home Alone style. If I'm getting looted, then I'm gonna have fun. Doorknob nice, and toasty.

It's really crazy to think you can be held legally responsible for a thief breaking into your home or business when you prepared traps and what not and he gets hurt.. If you shoot a thief in the back that broke into your own home you can get sued.. That's just crazy to me..

It's your home, it's your business and thieves should have NO rights when they break in.. You are protecting your property and life and it should be just that simple..

There was a case where the thief broke into the front door, then stepped through a floorboard that was weak and broke his leg.

The home owner was sued for negligence and lost. His floor wasn't properly maintained.

^^I should buy a hot street gun from a thug and just keep it just in case.. If I ever shot and killed an unarmed robber in the middle of the night in my home I would probably plant that street gun on him just to avoid legal trouble out here in California...

It should be a nationwide law that anyone caught looting during a time of crisis can be executed on site with no questions asked. Or if you are caught looting and arrested, it is an automatic life in prison sentence.

And it's a 20 minute drive to the beach.

FPL isn't even STARTING to restore power until tomorrow because the winds are too high.

If Miami took a direct hit 1,000 people would be dead.

I'm watching CNN and FOX doesn't look that bad at all. Strong winds in some parts and that's about it.. News is still trying to hype it to save face.. Laughable... They got news reporters out in the open no problems... I a real hurricane they'd be indoors..
