If you have certain expectation and are behind, if you reduce your bet you may reach your expectation and still be behind. Likewise, if you have an expectation and are ahead, raising your bet size for the eventual losses will again put you behind.

In other words, betting less today because you lost yesterday has the same effects as betting more today because you won yesterday. Only the bigger bets will really count.

Don't jiggle your bet size, it will cost you more vigorish than you realize and change your break even point.

Your advice is one a few options for bettors who are in a prolonged losing streak. But after one day that shouldn't be the case.

I do both.... small wager yesterday to get a feel for the season. No more usc but that's always the case for me. Not a losing gambler by any means, BOL with your wagers
