That can't be right. What am I missing? I rarely do spreads but that looks to good to be true.

Line has come down if it's 7. Was 7.5 for while. Bears are going to be bad this year. I am die hard bears fan so try to never bet on/against them but I wouldn't be on them in week 1. Glennon isn't good. Top receiver already out. Defense looked serviceable in pre season but when bears go 3 and out every possession defense won't be able to sustain. Just my opinion.

Easiest play on the board is Saints +3.5

So you are saying that's a bad bet? I just don't see how the falcons are only a touchdown better than the bears. Seriously considering giving this one a play (even though I generally stay away from spreads).

Yes it is a bad bet. The Falcons got publicly pantsed in the Super Bowl which is going to be tough to bounce back from, they have a new OC, Chicago is going to have a very good defense this year, Atlanta defense built on speed and the Bears will pound the ball down their throats and control the clock.

Bears will be tough to play. They won't win to many games but they will be a tough opponent

Bears have Jordan Howard and that's about it. As much as I like Howard, that's not going to be enough.

I don't like giving up 7 on any team on opening week, but I took ATL on a teaser.

It's Falcons -7 on Bears' home turf. If you're keeping track, Chip Kelly's 1-15 49ers played their best football during the first few games back when they were still motivated. I expect the Bears to play motivated in this opener.

I'd take Falcons spread, but very hesitantly and only if forced to pick. If it's a 2-score game then the Bears can screw you over with a garbage-time touchdown.

I like the Falcons in this one, not because of their offense, but because of their defense. 3rd year in Quinn's system, plus they augmented their defensive line. I think they'll force some Glennon turnovers and safely cover the number

I love falcons d but bears not a great matchup for them as the way to attack them w a power rushing game and that exactly what bears will feature.. I get everyone down on bears but this the kind of team fox likes to coach and has always been a tough dog as he shortens games and gives his team a chances late., long as glennon
Doesn't make too many dumb mistakes and get bears behind they will be in this in the 4th, I wouldn't count on many mistakes cause quite frankly he won't be given many chances to do much other than hand it to Howard.

I think the under a far better play than a side but no way would I be thrilled about laying 7 here.
