Gemini.com seems to be the current best option for a Coinbase like experience (simple/easy to understand) but with lower fees and better CS.

I've never has an issue with CB. I buy BTC about 2 times a month on debit. I use Bit Stamp as well. No issues.

I actually did a few days ago. The BBB has always helped me get refunded with scam companies like coinbase and with numerous banks and payPal. These fukin places are horrible and will steal from anyone they can. If coinbase doesn't respond to complaint I will look into class action lawsuit. Do some research and look up all of the complaints about coinbase. It is horrible what they are doing.

Yea it's sad you could dominate the industry by just giving mediocre service and a number to talk to a customer service rep.

If you are verified and happy with the trading exchange setup, then Kraken probably better than most options.

Gemini is US licensed but is a retail exchanger like Coinbase, not a trading exchange like Kraken. Owned by the Winklevoss Twins I believe.

Ive had zero issues with coinbase, yea theyre slow with customer service but i think i only had to use it once or twice and that was when i was setting up my account, i use them so often they actually increased my buy/sell limits a few days ago

IMO it is. Their wire withdrawals still take a week though. There are a bunch of other cryptos you can trade on Kraken and they are much more responsive to email inquiries.

GDAX is the best if you are US. And you can trade for free with limit orders. Bank transfers are free and fast and the money is safe - they are part of Coinbase. Kracken is inept and the platform is horrible.

i'm at tier 2 with no extra info... so if i withdrew $10k it would be wire rather than just direct withdrawal?

i imagine i can just leave the cash sit there like coinbase? will be doing mostly withdrawing bitcoins to kraken

I got the same problem. Can't log into account for over a year because I changed phones. Customer service is non existent. I highly recommend nobody use this dump. If you ever have a problem with your account customer service will not respond. They might send you some automated email response months later that are of no use though. Glad I only lost about a hundred with this scam place.
