At least this thing wasn't as big of a circus as it could have been. Mac fought the one of the greatest of all time and held his own for nearly 10 rounds.

I don't think Floyd really prepared much for this fight. I've never seen him get hit that much in his entire career (granted I didn't see a lot of the fight). I think he did it on purpose to try and make things interesting and also test Conor's power. Floyd usually throws the quick jabs to size you up and control the fight. I'll have to see the fight in detail but I don't think he threw many jabs. I didn't see Floyd's hand speed tonight but against Canelo he was lightning quick. Agreed Floyd probably didn't prepare as much as he usually does for prize fights.. Still at 40 the reflexes can slow, chin can begin to turn to glass.. They are saying on espn its possible to book a Connor/Pauli Malignaggi. I think Conor can make 5- 10 million which aint chump change compared to mma money. They are already selling the drama. I agree. Father time is undefeated but Floyd has never taken any punishment like most every other boxer. He has never done drugs or drink or do crazy stuff to his body. He has always been in epic shape. I saw his workout a few weeks ago and it was business as usual. He has a lot of miles on his body, so I think he could fight another 3 - 5 years but does he want to? What made Conor semi competitive tonight is that boxing is a 950051081vbig part of his fighting game and has been for 5-6 years. Floyd has never implemented ground training into his camps nor trained seriously.
With that said, I'd be more interested in Floyd fighting MMA I was with Conor boxing. If Floyd caught anyone flush with 4oz gloves, it would be good night.

It was a good fight, i'm just glad it's over. As a real boxing fan, this match only put on for entertainment purposes. Floyd wouldn't be undefeated if he fought the top guys like Crawford or Thurman.
