Looks like you should go back to 2nd grade and learn reading comprehension.

i also have a hard time seeing them not take anything out if they get less then 500 players

It's way to much. 50 is about the max most will pay for a successful survivor pool. I was in one 3 years ago and there were nearly 70 entries. Same contest the next year charged 50 dollars and could barely squeeze out 20 entries from the same pool. Made way less money for the pool by jacking up the price. Better players will be in the 100 dollar pool also. You wager will not have 500 entries to pay the 50k booty.
