I never got why kneeling or sitting down for the National Anthem makes a statement? It shows the player is being a unpatriotic in most peoples eyes..

I think most Americans don't see that as making a positive statement against black injustices by white cops like Kapp made it out to be.. Now it's just a hand full of black players acting the fool.. Don't see any white players taking a knee or sitting out either...

If you want to make a statement make it in news, in the papers, or voice during interviews.. Sitting during our National anthem is just a show of disrespect and most Americans will see it that way..

Owners should fire the players that don't honor the flag and or don't show some respect.. My take anyways..

They have such a bigger platform to make a statement, than just sitting, or kneeling. Does nothing for whatever they are trying to get out there. Their bully pulpit is wide ranging. Use it, if you really care. You know, with words. Not disrespecting the flag of the country that allowed you that ability.

If you live and get paid in America you should honor it.. It's like burning the American flag when you sit out the Anthem as a player on the field.. No respect!!!
