Arrieta (12-8, 3.73 ERA) recorded his sixth straight quality start Sunday at Arizona, allowing one run and three hits over six innings in a 7-2 victory. He is 5-2 with a 2.10 ERA in eight starts since July 2.
"I knew it was just a matter of time," Arrieta told WSCR-AM this week. "I wasn't pitching the way I would've liked or the way I'd expect to perform. Some of that had to do with not executing, some of it had to do with a little bit of bad luck. Some just had to do with not being on top of my game."

^^Sorry Sammy I gotta take a stab at the Under after all.. Early game start, bats can be cold for the early innings of play, players still waking up and feeling off from the normal start time schedules.. Both pitchers seem on it lately as well..
Under 9.5 at -130 looks like a decent grab to me.. I'll gamble on the early game..

This total is hard to read into: Happ last 3 starts 1.45 ERA...Arrieta last 3 1.86 ERA.....But career vs the other team both have high ERA's, and out dated...Happ last threw vs CUBS 2 years ago and Arrieta last threw vs TOR. 3 years ago.....So it's hard to bet this total.......pass. As for the game,don't see any good angles...pass........................... ......................................GLComment -

Although it's a small sample...
The 1st two inning of yesterday's day games saw over 20 runs.
The theory that cold hands lead to cold bats early in the day is poorly applied analysis.
Like I said, small sample but if your tried to apply this thinking yesterday, you'd have been murdered.
Stay away from this under.
Not very strong winds today, either SW or NE.

Interleague games are tough to cap.
Head to head matchup are rare.
These teams haven't played each other in 3 years and some of those Stas are 9 years old.
Jays Slugging average is improved but Happ could get chased from this game in the 3rd or 4th inning if he's not on today.Comment -
I saw that, not always the case with early games though, you can't go off just one day of baseball like yesterday Jayster... We'll see what happens today?.. Besides those early games yesterday didn't have these pitchers pitching today that have been on it lately...

If arrieta gets lit up he made a mistake to Donaldson with men on most likely that jays lineup is weak in inter league.
