Bookie owes me 7k

Not sure if this is the right spot but wanted to get people's opinion on a dilemma.
Have a local bookie who owes me 7k and isn't paying.

Should I sell the debt (if so to who)
Should I report him?
Should I try to settle for less?

At this point he just keeps ignoring me.

Most books cash poor until football, offer to ride it out to end of October- taking weekly $500 payments till 10.31.

If he's stiffed you for a month plus and no communication just walk away and tell all your gambling buddies the lesson- Monday is settlement day, regardless.

Lol, dude you can't report him, betting is illegal. If he's a big time bookie you might have leverage with with him if word spreads he doesn't play, if he's not big time your probably best of just settling with him and seeing if you can get 4-5k.

I wouldn't tell the bookie you want to settle, but I would be willing to settle after you talk to him. If a guy is ducking you for 7k he's probably a deadbeat.
