Because Jake (from State Farm) has an ERA of 4 + on the road.
Arizona is really, really, really good at home (17 over .500)
And Godley has been really, really, really good all season too.

Been watching the kid most of the year, if you haven't he was very good in his last start against the Dodgers, you know that team that some people say are even better than the 1927 Yankees.

And the two starts before that Godley allowed no runs to the Cards and no runs to the Cubs.
And the start that he had a ND in a Arizona win against Washington.

4 really really good teams.

Oh, one last thing, he's had 16 starts, 11 have been what they call quality starts, has a gaudy 9 k per 9 innings pitched ration or 1:1 if you will, an ERA of 2.98 and a WH/IP of 1.02

Plus I like home dogs, the game is a pick 'em, I consider home teams at pick underdogs. I don't know why, it's just me.

But the most important reason why I like this play is.
it can't suck worse than my Oakland play last night.

Side, no. Yanks +1.5 runs small maybe.
