NFL got slammed enough last year for the HORRENDOUS Thursday night match ups that consisted of the caliber of the Browns vs. Texans pretty much every week, they cannot afford to lose more audience due to no one being able to catch the football.

Side Note: See the Thursday night slate this season? Solid!

My friend's kid plays football and couldn't catch a ball if it rolled off the table into his hands. He bought his kid those gloves and now he's Spider Man.

It's not though because EVERYONE is allowed to wear them. That is not cheating. Cheating is what the Patriots do

Everyone was allowed to use Stickum and they banned that.

Agreed.....but it does cheapen what other players did before the gloves came on the scene. I can't imagine what guys like Terrell Owens would be with those gloves. Guy was a physical specimen with hands of stone.

Should ban all gloves and sticky substances in the NFL.. Even if you ditch and ban the gloves the players would still apply sticky crap on their bare hands...

If you keep it natural you would see a hell of lot more fumbles and dropped passes that's for sure.. Running backs use that sticky crap as well.
