Thoughts on using $1800 in free slot play?
Have a casino offer soon of $1800 in match or slot play. Even with the ability to split this up into some smaller match plays, that route doesn't seem worth it.

Would think going for video poker or low variance slots would be best to grind out some decent money. But I'm so barreled in right now that 18 $100 spins on a Wheel Of Fortune slot is looking real tempting.

    What would you guys do?

    if there's a 6/9 jacks or better available, i'd play the $1 machine, 5 credits a push

or 5 x .25 if you want to reduce variance and play longer... $5 x 5 if you want more variance and don't want to sit all day

I'd play max bet on a few different slots with bonus games and hope that you hit a nice once.

Video Poker will have a higher return than slots. Just make sure you know the strategy for the particular machine. If you're so broke you want to maximize your chance of cashing then go for smaller bets, if you're just trying to maximize +EV go for larger bets. Also, some casinos comp on freeplays, so larger bets will get you more back if your casino does this.

This is Resorts in AC. Haven't been there for 1.5 years and lost a lot last time. They are calling it their "Rediscover Resorts" offer. $1800 in slot/match, $100 dining, and comped suite.

Highest denomination slot they have looks to be $100. Someone just hit for $160k recently on a $100 one with two coins in.

Yeah the brunch is pricy. Last time they approved me $300 dining and we blew it all at Gallaghers.

Yes it can be used for match play. And last time they let an offer be broken up into five separate tickets.

Baccarat would not be bad to grind out half the value. I did Craps with them last time and won like two out of three without any hedging. Think they were $200 each. Was thinking slots or VP this time just from the sheer amount of the offer.

Why not just use it on the $5 or $20 slots? You will get more spins in and hopefully get a little lucky, can hit decent on the $20 slots?

Hey guys. I finally got around to using this offer over Thanksgiving.

I played 1800 games at a single $1 coin of Jacks or Better. Was an 8/5 machine and I cleared $1725 out of it.

Additionally, another casino a couple of months back had a welcome deal of matching offers from others. I presented the $1800 offer from Resorts and was given $1000 in slot play there. Ran that through similarly and cleared $988.

I gave Resorts lots of table action on my trip (40+ hours) and came out barely ahead. Hope it leads to another generous offer to come back. Was fun making the most of all this.

Nice returns. I was at Resorts at the beginning of the month. Games were friendly, dealers were great. Ended up coming home slightly ahead. My two buddies got killed on blackjack. Hope they send some nice offers our way soon.

Yeah they have a good vibe to the place, Crusherrr. I ended up having to stay in an older room and hope to get a renovated one next time. Eastwind and Gallagher's were good places to eat.

Seems they are pretty generous with offers. A guy I was playing with said he had a $500 average and they give him $2400 in match play a day there. Was talk of the forthcoming competition with Hard Rock and that will be interesting.

Wow! Nice return man. When I was playing poker at Delaware Park they had an hours thing where they'd give you slot plays for playing a certain amount of poker, so I would've told you jacks or better as well.

                                    Well played sir.
