Makes sense, cards been to this point where a win puts them at .500 a bunch of times the last month or so and everytime they get to this point they lose.

Don't like that Perez out for kc. I'm trying to find numbers on how royals offense hits early in the game. Martinez has been incredibly vulnerable in 1st innings this season, if you don't get him in 1st he typically has a great game but when he bad in 1st then he usually labors to make it thru 5 innings.

Line moves on cards games been flat out silly lately. 2 games ago they opened around a pick and got pushed all the way to +130ish. Yesterday they rightfully opened as favs around -120 and inexplicably got pushed all way to dogs. Now today after money been wrong fading them the last 2 it backing them strong enough to take them from dogs at open to sizable favs. Cards maddeningly inconsistent which makes them tough to cap and seems the money moving their lines is all mixed up w them!!

I lean under as I do most cards games (yesterday non-withstanding the offense been terrible since asb, really all season). Gonna have to wait on lineups as matheny snuck a different better lineup in on me yesterday. Knowing matheny I'd think he most likely go back to the standard lineup cause he a idiot but will have to see..

I am not playing anything in this game, but here are some KC 1st inning stats that you were asking for. Hope this helps a little:

Kansas City is currently in dead last in 1st inning runs per game at 0.36

At HOME the Royals average the 2nd least runs per first inning at 0.35 (angels only team worse at 0.32 runs)

And in the last 3 games the Royals have averaged 0 runs in the 1st inning.

Awesome thanks. As fan happy w cards lineup but not as thrilled w idea of under as I think this lineup has far more potential for production than the one matheny usually tosses out there. Certainly don't think I'd have kc here given how poorly they do in 1st innings as that when you have to get Martinez. If I get decent ump may still play under, it that or nothing here for me.
