It's pretty standard that it's free play with almost all books. If it doesn't say cash then assume it's a free play.

I agree the "dollar for dollar" part is misleading. Freeplay dollars are only worth about 50% of the dollars you are depositing.
Betonline is a legit book though. It's a just a poor piece of advertising.

If it doesn't say that it's cash then don't assume that it's cash. Alternatively, you could ask support before depositing and taking the bonus. Rather then go about it on your own and complaining on a forum.

The 100% cash bonuses that I've seen are skybook and betphoenix, both legit B rated books, elsewhere I've seen 100% cash bonuses but they have been temporary, I got one at betdsi from a promotional mailing about 3 months ago. GT Bets has a 100% cash bonus as well and they are legit although they kick people out very fast.

The one at GTbets is tiny, its like 250 max. Skybook and Betphoenix have 175% freeplay bonuses, which are better and likely come with less rollover than the 100% cash.

Not knocking at them at all. I plan on depositing on both later in the year. GTbets good as well, just a small bonus is all. The 100% cash is only for P2P it looks like. Who still is using that?

I tend to agree with the OP. There's nothing stopping BO from adding the words "free play" to their description, so clearly they are trying to take advantage of new customers who think it's cash bonus. That said, it's still a generous bonus.

Bottom line you shouldn't be offered a bonus when depositing, then once they get your money told you aren't eligible for the bonus because you didn't look up fine print rule 18f and call up your old calculus teacher to see if you qualify, but not be able to get your deposit sent back either.

I have always gotten paid from them but after years of playing there and several incidents I've realized they increase their bottom line by operating under the customer is always wrong philosophy and it's unfortunate.
