american books are operating illegally
they have limited clientel, and increased transaction costs because they cant use many commercial funding/payment menthods
which means they are not profitable enough to invest in expensive bespoke software like euro books do, and also probably not worth it given they could be shut down at any time/dont have enough of a customer base to justify investmentComment -

#30you are trying to argue semantics but that still doesnt change anythingOriginally posted by Snowballnot true. it's only illegal to operate a book in the US, offshore books are 100% legal
and not American and they mostly do have access to licensed funding.
US facing books like 5dimes and heritage primarily cater to US citizens, hence they are operating illegally. even if they only had one us customer they would be operating illegally
and because of this they indeed have increased operational costs, limited clientele, and less money in general
for example they have to have payment processors which probably costs them a pretty penny, also when a payment processor skips town or is busted the book loses hella doe
and since they are primarily US facing most people choose legal gambling options or locals/vegas or avoid online altogether hence limited clientele. the big euro outfits have millions of active customers, these books are in the thousands. and i know they are open to worldwide business but who are we kidding, no one in the rest of the world is rushing to sign up with US facing books, they have nothing to offer to them
so less customers/higher costs = less money = crappier software
plus, why would they invest in expensive software, when they could be put out of business by the US government and not get a chance to make their investment backComment -

#33Not just building it, but operating a live betting platform is expensive.
UK books can advertise all the innovative features live betting offers to get enough users to justify multiple platforms being developed and running profitably..Comment -

#35I hate all the books where you have to keep hitting the refresh button to refresh the lines like 5dimes.. I like the books that redirect and open the separate live betting window and then stay in constant refresh update live mode..Comment
