I use to know this guy,who was a big bettor on the NFL. He would bet the games....and his action was to find the scores and read about the games,while taking the train into work on Monday mornings!!

I know its irrational, I have no belief that it actually effects the outcome of the game. Just a bit of OCD. Keep a spreadsheet of bet results. If I grade past wagers, I will lose that night.

Yes. Sometimes I notice the team Im betting on doing better if Im tuning in for that time or if not tuning in, depending on which determines if I keep watching or keep it off.

2 hour commute nothing do it everyday...just turn on the ac get a automatic car and relax you get used to it...as for superstitions I like to do weird shit idk why like wait an hour after a game has started then open the score app I got and hold my fingers over the scores then slowly remove them lol...idk why kinda weird.

It's like the post bet intuition is very strong, strong enough to fade myself at times I guess. But I don't. It feels like one of the few mistakes I make over and over. Not buying back after feeling like the bet was bad.

It's the tough part about betting with strict criteria and not emotion, we see some bets lose and almost see it coming.

The superstition "pays off" tonight. Had live Dodgers bet, bottom of 11 down 2-1, game on mute, Taylor comes up, grounds out, gotta do something different and fast, so I unmute and turn volume down because Im listening to a podcast of a guy who's previewing the Big Ten West in college football. Seeger comes up, cool, doubles to right, great, I no doubt leave game unmuted since something good is happening with the change, Turner up next, cool, he's 2nd in the majors in batting, they walk Turner with 1st open with double play in mind, well ok. Farmer pinches for Baez, I can live with that, Farm's hitting well this season. Volume's still up, he doubles to right bringing in Seeger and Turner to win the game 3-2. Go Blue.
