The equipment in most high schools is old, of substandard quality, and ill fitting. Not to mention the MRSA and other shit crawling all over it. If my kid plays he will have his own equipment that I buy for him. I remember the helmet that I wore in high school was about 2 sizes two small but they ran out of helmets that year so I got stuck with it lol. Can you imagine?

I guess my Dad not wanting me to play football growing up, and pushing me towards soccer paid off. Oh wait, the alcohol he had no problem with destroyed my brain anyway.

I could have been a beast at LB, TE, or QB. Was good at soccer. Well, as a goalie really, or D, and won a lot, but that shit got old. I wanted to hit people, got booted for some slide tackles.
