            FOR OTTERS ONLY:

You are a degenerate with three coins in your hand. The first coin is a regular coin The second has two heads and the third has two tails. You pick a coin at random and flip it the result is heads.

What is the likelyhood that the other side is tails?

Here is the way I thought about it. If the coin landed on heads then in cannot be the 3rd coin (tails, tails,)

So it has to be either the regular coin or the head, heads coin. 50/50

Please explain why this isn't the answer. You have flipped on of two coins. One has heads on the other side, one has tails. What's the trick?

You had 1/4th a chance to flip a tails since the coin you couldn't have chosen was the one with both sides being tails. That left 3 heads and one tail amongst the two remaining coins.

You've already seen one side though. It was heads. So you know the other side is either a heads or a tails. No other options exist. 50% the other side is a tails.

I looked this up. Basically the math says 1/3 because of how many heads possible from the start. I understand the math essentially says if you turn the coin over, it will only show tails one third of the time. I'd like to test it. How the question is worded, the other side is either another heads or a tails, so 50%.
