#73One notion that is false in my opinion is line shopping is why you should have multiple books - its the bonuses that make multiple books worthwhile. If you get an extra half point on every NFL game it won't make a difference in the long run, the NFL is a pick the winner league and 82% of the time the spread does not matter. Extra half points in basketball matter but in college and the NFL I just don't think the extra half point is going to make a difference most years.Comment -

#74It is worth it.. Also when you are signed on with many books you will get free contest play daily on many of them. Can't get that kind of free action on just one book only... I know I play many daily..Originally posted by CGBatchIt does take time, but if you win more often or pay less on losses it's worth it, no?
I've hit many times for $50 and even $500 freeplay over the years on books like BetDSI, Bookmaker and 5dimes just from playing the free contests daily.. Hitting 5 or 10 picks in a row..Comment -

#75it really does not matter that much if you are going to play off shore books. They are all a rip off anyways. You guys are desperate for any type of freebees you can get because you all lose so much. Very few of you, if any, are pro gamblers. If you were, you would know that you NEVER play offshore because you have to wait forever to get paid, they insist on all kinds of ID before they pay you, ID that they can use against you if they need to, they cut your limits when you win, and they can just disappear without a trace.
It is critical to have at least three books who you can depend on at all times. It is also critical that you have your money available at all times, not tied up in some book that may or may not pay you depending on their mood. You have to be able to move funds from one book to another in seconds, not hours or days. You have to be able to play NCAA and NFL "Games of the Year" for real money, not this nickel and dime crap that some offshore books allow. You have to have the ability to middle without being chased out of your book. No offshore book allows that. Most Vegas books are not real happy with that either, which is why you have to have at least 3 major Vegas books and the ability to get a wager down immediately, without tying all of your resources up because you had to deposit in some stupid offshore book while are waiting for a payout from another.Comment -

#76This is the dumbest post I've read in a couple months and it was obviously written by someone who has never played offshore. I'd much rather bet offshore where I can hit the opening lines and not lose 2-3 points of value in the NFL or 4-5 points of value in college driving to some casino where I have to take 20 minutes to park and then half an hour to drive home.Originally posted by BigdaddyQHit really does not matter that much if you are going to play off shore books. Besides that even pro gamblers hit up the free contests that the books offer also.. It's free money when you win at zero risk to the player.. Why not?
Who doesn't like 50 or 500 FP wins every now and then, I know I don't.. The 50FP aren't much but the 500FP hits work just fine for me.. I've hit them in the past.. Some books offer you Amazon purchases instead of FP also..Comment -

#80I'm not a professional gambler but what do you define as a professional? Forever to get paid? All kinds of ID? Use against me? Disappear? In 15 years I've been playing online at offshore books it's not true, or I'm just that damn lucky!Originally posted by BigdaddyQHit really does not matter that much if you are going to play off shore books. #81What defines a PRO GAMBLER? I've often pondered on that.. I suppose if you cap for hours every day, place many bets every day and win over time that constitutes you as a pro gambler.. That's your job and your main source of income and it's working for you..Originally posted by 5918mikeI'm not a professional gambler but what do you define as a professional? Forever to get paid? That's how I think of it anyways. I could be wrong.. It's not my main source of income personally but it is what I do every day and it takes up hours of my time each and every day.. I consider myself a professional sports gambler as I've been doing it also for over 25 years and it's profitable.. More of a hobby then a profession for me personally though..
Some professional gamblers are better then others, most have different strategies of play, some are mathematical geniuses and work every percentage and angle with workable schemes to profit, others are just damn good at picking winners consistently year after year and profit that way...
So it varies.. My take anyways on the label..Comment -

Gotta pass the time posting while capping sports or life and gambling becomes a boring grind.. I like it.. I'll be capping MLB and take a 5 minute break in the morning like right now and sip on the coffee and read the garbage and post myself...
Once in a while you pick up a good tip on a bet as well, betting angles, props, futures, etc.. It's not a complete waste of time, especially if you get a laugh out of it also....Comment -

Nitrogen really for people who want to gamble on the price of bitcoin as well as the games.
So it's really just if you want to hold bitcoin or not, rather than ranking them..Comment -

#99I use looselines and find them to be a very good book...Solid A i would rate them..I use them mostly for USA horse W/P, daily double and Exacta bets they pay of a daily rebaye of 7% on those which is awesome..They have good C/S and payouts are fast BTC basically sent while you are on phone or chat...Only negative is they only allow 1K per day payout via BTC and since the Aug 1st chain split takes 30 confirmations for deposits to credit...I recommend!Originally posted by ChuckyTheGoatWhat do u guys think of Jazz?
