anyway the reason that there are less women in poker is the same reason there are less women in sports betting. they are two activities that are attractive mainly to degens. and mainly men are degens, women dont suffer from that affliction as much

The truth is the truth, no matter what you call the person telling it to you. For you to say men are just degenerates and women are too smart to gamble tells me you haven't walked around a casino slot area.

No matter how equal you and other snowflakes want to force the world to be, there are natural differences between men and women. Men are more competitive, more strategic, and better at mathematics. Those three characteristics are important for getting interested in and doing well at poker. Also for example, chess is a competitive, strategic game which is male dominated too. Strongman competition is about strength, and men are stronger. Get the picture?

As far as saying men are smarter, I am not going to say that because science doesn't support that. Women tend to do better in school, but poker isn't writing answers on a test paper. The most intelligent people are men, but when averaging intelligence it's about equal between men and women.

I was at the gym yesterday and there was a 40 something year old woman wearing a shirt that said "equality" on the front. It was a normal day at the gym, the guys were at the free weights and machines, the girls were on the treadmills and stair climbers or the occasional machine. I was doing repetitions of 225 at the bench press, some other guy was curling 55-65 lb dumbells on each arm, some other guy was doing pull ups. This "equality" woman goes to a bench press and puts a 5lb weight on each side of the bar and starts bench pressing.

You and other snowflakes are surrounded by evidence of the truth, but you prefer to create an imaginary world that makes you feel good about yourself. Then you stick your head in the sand only removing it long enough to call those that threaten your world names like "misogynist".

a) James Flynn, the worlds leading authority on IQ testing posted that in the past 100 years IQ's for both genders has risen sharply, but most recently women's IQ's have risen more dramatically, and have surpassed the men.
Flynn attributes this to modernity, the complexity of the modern world has made our brains adapt, and women are adapting quicker, Flynn reports.

b) Columbia University studies say women learn better, that women have better approaches when it comes to learning, they are more organized than men, more attentive than me, and more likely to understand the task at hand better than men.

c) SDSU studies report that women are cleaner than men. Studies show that men are less hygienic.

d) Government statistics show women graduate college more often than me.
I personally subscribe to the it's how you apply your degree than just earning a degree, just reporting the facts here.
Same studies show men take on the average one year longer than women to achieve the same degree as women.

e) I know a lot of dudes are not going to like this one, but women are better managers, they are better listeners, problem solvers, and better at multi tasking.

Now, having said all that, women are not better than men, us dudes are better at a lot of things than women.
Like drinking for instance. I'm kidding of course, you all know what they are, but to say men are superior than women overall is ludicrous.
By the same token saying women are superior to men is equally ludicrous.

We're better at certain things than them.

There are more players that are men than women.
I suppose one way to find out if women really do suck at poker is to have some type of tournament pitting the top female poker players in the world against the top men players.

But they are not more competitive. They are not more adventurous, ambitious, strategic, or mathematical. That is why there aren't many female poker players. Not because they just decided they didn't want to play.

Because it's pretty much impossible to table select so you only play against bad players (level 1 thinkers) in this day and age, and it doesn't work to play as simplistic against better players. In other words, even if you beat up on a couple of noobs you might lose more to better players for a net minus.

I've noticed my results are better the higher level I play. Figuring out how dummies play can be hard.

Some are impossible to read as they will play any hand. You win against their junk, then they hit the nuts with their junk. You must be rich, because plenty of these people are at local casinos. Just saying.

is what was said which is complete backwards thinking. Your edge is that they play "every hand", play slightly tighter and make them pay when they hit their shitty hands. Also keep in mind that a few guys you will perceive as donkeys can also actually play super loose and make up for it with great hand reading, but they're few and far between.

The point is, beating up on poor players is never, and should never be, an issue. If it is, well, then you're probably not as good as you think you are and/or you can't adequately distinguish good poker from bad poker.

I'd rather play someone decent. It helps that I look like the drunk dummy, so it's easy to trap them, and extract as much as possible. I'm no expert, but not the so-called dummy at the table, unless I feel like acting like it when it's people I don't know.

I've played a few I thought I were good, but yes - usually when I see them sit I don't expect them to do well. It's nice to have them around though when they do show up, the tables are such a sausage fest.

I do think strategy and adventure are definitely more male traits. I have a female cousin a few years younger, I told her I thought she would be great at poker. She's very smart (salutorian), was a pretty good soccer player in hs (small college offers, went to big D1 school and gave it up), and is an actuary now. All good traits to transfer to a card table. I told her and she said "O, no I could never lose my money." I tried explaining it to her and it was like I was speaking Mandarin.

Women are just not into living a little dangerously, and I don't think they get into the strategy of things. Even if they like sports, they don't think of things like strategy, just what actually happens. Next woman I ever talk to that has anything remotely intelligent to say about sports strategy will be the first.

The part about the SJWs made me lol. I have a "super-intelligent" liberal aunt who was arguing with me that female soccer players were as good as males.
