Live within the laws of our land and you should never have a problem. My car has never been searched. Been driving since 1979. The people that complain are the ones breaking the law, bottom line.

Speak for yourself, theyve tried to search mine before and for no reason at all. After pulled over for speeding, thats not normal protocol.

When I was in high school my car got stolen and it was about a week later that the police found it in the dessert. I had weed in my car when it was stolen and now my car was sitting at the police impound lot.

I thought for sure whoever stole my car and and my stereo, speakers, CDs would have found the weed and took it. But if they didnt I would have just told the cops that it wasn't my weed, must have belonged to the thieves.

Long story short I guess the cops didnt search my car very good because I got my car and my weed back.

Could've been a few reasons. They normally won't search without a reason.

They search for no reason. I see it all the time over here. Blacks and whites. I think they are looking for drugs for personal use

Respect law enforcement, they have a tough and dangerous job. Without them, there is no law and order. live your life the right way and you won't have a problem. They don't actively seek to throw people in jail for no reason.

I been pulled over dozens of times. I am mixed race and live outside of Los Angeles in a mainly white community. Never had any issues. Have cops been dicks to me? absolutely! do I fire back and fight with them? absolutely not! only a fool does that. That is a verbal battle that you can't win and will just create bigger problems for yourself. I couldn't care any less if they are racist and that is why they pulled me over, I am not the racist police. As difficult as it can be, you stay respectful, answer questions without attitude and don't be stupid.... then I go about my day. I have also encountered many good cops, who you can tell aren't d-bags. Just like every other profession that exist in life, some people are b*tches and other people are legit. No benefit in crying over it.

This is an extreme case, that's if it's true. You should've called the watch commander if this did happen.

I get the feeling you are not a law abiding citizen being the number of run ins you've had.

knowing when to pick your battles is just as important. Your word against the cops in a 'he said, she said' story, you will lose 100% of the time. Spend sometime in Mexico, China and parts of Europe and you will grow a new appreciation for the police here. It's not perfect but no one is.
