Whoever they get, they have to have a deal in place. There's no way they would put themselves in a position of overpaying for a guard.

Teague isn't even a big upgrade over Rubio. Honestly in that offense, Rubio is probably a better fit.

The Timberwolves have agreed to sign free agent power forward Taj Gibson, reports Shams Charania of The Vertical. According to Charania, Gibson will receive $28MM on a two-year deal from Minnesota.
