Is Max the best pitcher in the game today?
    I say he is.

Kershaw is 11-2, but Max dominates major leagues in every other category.
I can't do a proper three year side by side comparison because Kershaw missed 1/2 season last year.
Check it out, Max hasn't missed a start in three years, has had a WH/IP of under 1.00 last 3 seasons which is sick.
Damn, Max is approaching Pedro Martinez elite.
Year W L ERA GS IP H BB SO WH/IP
    2015 14 12 2.79 33 228.2 176 34 276 0.92
    2016 20 7 2.96 34 228.1 165 56 284 0.97
    2017 9 5 2.06 16 113.2 65 24 151 0.78

Kershaw regular season bumgarmer postseason. Max is a great pitcher and I love his competitive spirit but if I was picking one pitcher to be on my team I would pick the other two above him

Can you imagine the Snakes today if they managed to keep him when max was a rookie?
They'd be NL leaders instead of fighting for a wild card.

What jumps out at me is the consistent WH/IP in the zero's and not missing a start in his entire Washington career.

It's a small bet, I wouldn't say sweating, the Brews pen gives me the shakes which is why I never unload on them. or any other team that has shaky relievers.
Years ago I learned bullpens are usually the cause of good bets going bad.
