the ONLY thing I like about that bet is how bad the Nats bullpen is
Hard to imagine that a 5-1 lead going into the 8th inning is never safe with Washington
Outside of that everything else screams to take the Natties

what really scares me is lester letting the nats run all over him like they did against jake, but we will see

Cubs are backed into a corner right now , and considering what all has occurred over last few days
its funny to see Lester having to pitch with him being notoriously bad at holding runners
Plus no Bryant in their lineup , Cubs are not a good road team

Ross seems to pitch more consistently at home

But one thing overrides all that, and its how historically bad the Nats bullpen is
Ross is capable of getting dinged around or into a high pitch count and then what happens ?
Might as well hand the ball over to a fan and have him pull back
and wing it towards home plate once Ross exits the game

I still took Nats because im not sold on this game being the game the Cubs turn everything around
The Nats lineup is so dangerous and they have their starters playing today(outside of Raburn..who is hitting .320)

Either way , one of us is going to win, ehh ?
