If you are flipping a coin and it has landed on heads 10 times in a row what is the likelihood the next flip will also land on heads? It's still 50%. The previous outcomes have no bearing on the next flip. None. In fact, it is actually possible for the coin to land on heads 100 times in a row. You may need to flip it an infinite number of times for it to happen, but it is possible. Still, each subsequent flip has a 50/50 chance of landing on either side.

Baseball is about trends and streaks, the rockies are currently on a bad streak while the giants are putting together a good streak. Don't be so quick to jump all over the rockies today, don't say I didn't warn you either!!

This isn't coin flipping, it's baseball.

Colorado is just missing too many players who know how to have good at bats. No cargo, no parra and no lemahieu. That's why they are struggling. I would continue to fade them until they get these guys back in the lineup

See blow a first inning that should of been huge and now bats silent and giants winning. It's just dead money to bet on this team missing all those players

rockies just are going back to how they normally play, average at best
Yeah I'm not talking about the giants though. Im saying the Rockies were strong when they had those three guys in the lineup. Without those three they can't produce runs so why bet them? Just because they've lost 6 or 7? the chase theory is not a good betting strategy in baseball in my opinion

yeah but that means the giants should have trouble producing runs as well, which makes it pretty much even

That theory is true for coin flips, not for baseball games.

Countless factors influence a baseball game.

A coin flip is basically the same thing over and over again.
