                6/30
                Dodgers -202 (7.5 under -120)
                Wood vs. Richard
                Run line -130

                Wood is an elite?
-200 + on the road is rarified air for #2 starters.
7.5 total tells me Dodgers won't do to much scoring either.

Not laying -202 on the road.
Not betting a run line either at -130.
Under 7.5 I suppose is the play.
                No play for me.

                Yesterday
                Kershaw did what he does.
                Dominates weaker teams.

Wood hasn't lost a game. And against the Padres? Come on.

                  All in on the Dodgers.

Rocking chair win last night, no brainer.
Alex Wood is having a career season.

                            YTD 3-2 (-0.47*)

                            7/1
                            Hill vs. Overton (SD)
                            Hill -220 (8.5)

I neither like nor dislike the Dodgers, I'll bet them when I feel they are in a spot to bet them.
I'll fade them when I feel they are a fade.

Not for nothing, my two cents, SD is a serious overlay here.
Just my opinion, you don't have to listen to me, +200 with SD has serious value.

Anyway I'm betting SD tonight, but the purpose of this thread is to track LA Dodgers from a wagering point of view.
                            YTD Dodgers are 3-2 (-0.47*)

I'm basing my wager on a few things.
                                It's a Dodger market, I'm buying low.
Feeling here is the Dodgers in tonight's spot is overvalued.

Having said that, Rich Hill is not a good lefty pitcher, or any type of that matter.
He gives up over 4 and half earned runs a game, and allows 14 baserunners per nine innings (1.45 WH/IP)
As mentioned, Hill is not a very good lefty, I take a look at the SD lineup and look at the left handed pitcher splits.
Or in other words who in this SD lineup can do damage against a not very good left handed pitcher.
And the answer is the leadoff hitter, the number three hitter and the cleanup hitter.

The SD hot shot rookie (Pirerela) hits .290 v. LHP (.353 OBA) he leads off.
Will Myers has nice power numbers vs. LHP and has an OBA of .376 (.264 BA)
Hunter Renfoe hits cleanup and he's the best of the three versus LHP.
As a matter of fact he's one of the best hitters versus LH pitchers in the NL, and there are some elite LH pitchers.
Renfoe bats .338, has a very loft OBA of .414 and has 6 homers in 77 AB's. (15 RBI)
Prorate that for a full season that's 39 bombs and 100 RBI.

So, I'm betting the top half of the batting order can inflict some pain on Rich Hill.
If they do what I think the will do, then I need Overton the starter for SD to keep the Dodger bats at bay.
No tall order the way they can hit, that's why I'm getting 2:1
Dillon Overton starts for SD, he's a left handed pitcher, but he's making his SD debut, coming over from Seattle.
He's also a converted reliever, he's not stretched out, figure Overton is going to be on a 50 limit pitch count.
So, it looks like from the SD standpoint they are going to mix and match relievers to the Dodger hitters.
It's going to be a game of matchups.

I like 2:1 in this spot, 2:1 dogs are not a sure thing, not a lock, but based on what I see, a dog that can do three things.
                                Bark, Bite and Cash.

This is team is unreal. 2 outs, nobody on in the 9th, and they come back to win 6-4.
