    Fading the Yanks this afternoon
    Texas +145 over New York

Not always a good idea to fade the Yankees in the Bronx, but the Bombers start their kid Luis Cessa who's a cheeseburger that gets spanked by right handed hitters which Texas sports a boatload of today. (8 out of 9 RH batters, on lefty is Choo)

The Texas kid Bibens-Kirkx is the starter, he's nasty on right handed batters, but is homer prone to lefties, which is OK with me because the Yanks power supply comes from the right side, and the only LH batters Girardi is starting is DiDi, who could poke one out I suppose. Call up Mason Williams give Gardener a day off today, Williams is a speedy outfielder with very little pop and will lead off.

Total is 11, I don't like betting over 11's unless Colorado, Arizona or Washington is involved (as long as Max ain't starting) Could be an 8-5 game, just not going to bet it.

I'll take the Texas sticks today is this spot with the better young starter.
I'm getting +145 because Yanks at home is always juiced to the stratosphere, and I think it's an even up game.

Fade, tail or pass, all good to me.

    Other afternoon games.

KC / Toronto series is baffling me.
I'm a huge KC fan, thought Toronto with Happ would cruise, KC won that.
Vargas today should beat Estrada, Estrada has been getting hammered all season, I really want to pull the trigger and bang in KC, but that annoying birdie is say, don't do it Nasher, don't do it.

Oh do I dare say it, the mother of all cheeseburgers starts today for the White Sox, James Shields, he's actrually pitching well, but the Oakland starter is just as bad as Shields, Daniel Gossett and his 7 ERA, but I know the second you bet Shields he shits the bed and gives up 6 earned in two innings.

You know, I thought he was in his late 20's.
      He is indeed 32.

OK, Nasher set up early here, Cessa walks Deshields leading off, he steals second, we got the only lefty in the lineup, our favorite drunk Choo at bat.

I know, and Judge hits a pop to shallow center and the crowd erupts.

Holy shit, Cessa has never looked this good, like ever.
              6 outs, all K's.

Funny how those 11 totals hardly ever get there, but it's still early.
Something about 11 totals I shy away from.

Cessa was worlds better today, still couldn't beat Biben-Kirkx.
Judge got a pitch he could smack and he did maul it.
That was his only blemish, outside of that to say he was spectacular is a bit of a stretch, but he was rock solid.

That's what I look for, pick 'em type games where the side you like is getting +145.
Doesn't always pay out, but betting +140, +160 dogs you don't even have to win 50 percent of your bets to show a profit.
The + sign is your friend, nobody has gone broke betting dogs if you do the homework and pick your spots.

Little birdie told me to lay off Shields, I just sensed it.
Played the Royals small, hit that, but the book is getting that play back, I really thought Reds would put a hurt on Ross, Nats were the ones doing the hurting and Ross showed today he can hang at the bottom of that rotation, which is no knock considering that rotation is Max/Gio/Stras .....

Man, if, big if, the Nats can get the pitching gelling at the same time as the offense in October Nats could do what the GS Warriors did in the NBA post season.

Getting back to the Yanks, if bettors have been riding that money train all season, I'd jump off now, I'm sensing a tailspin there.
