He was the greatest. They did the top 100 and cincy did a mass vote for pete rose to edge out clemente. Now rose was a good ball player. He is a jack ass in person. But clemente was something to behold. I have a print of mazeroski sp crossing home plate in the w.s. My brother was friends with couple of marlins and they gave them out to family.But I would have to say my 4 favorite pirates are bonds (met him),clemente(met him) tekulve (grew up 2 streets over from me and parker (nicest guy ever met) he owned a couple popeyes in cinti and would come in and work the register
