I honestly feel like most Americans generally want the same things in life regardless of what political party they belong to (or independent), it's the crazies on both sides that get the most attention....Higher powers probably like it this way

When Obama was president, the negativity may have been coming from one isolated channel. I never watched it. Nowadays you can't get around it, it's everywhere. It must be nice to be able to make jokes about the president and not have to worry about being called a racist.

"Then we managed to get him on the floor. Then he was saying, 'Kill me, kill me'. I said, 'We are not going to kill you. Why did you do that?' He wouldn't say anything."

Salah Alamoudi said eight people were hit.

He said they had to hold the suspect on the ground for up to half an hour before police arrived.

"The guy, I had to keep him at least half an hour. He was a strong guy. A big man," he said.

"It was heartbreaking. It wasn't an accident."
