Nope was in tampa for the jets bucs game 2nd week of november and told my friend to buy 1 for 7500 then within the next 4 weeks was almost 20k

Focusing only on the top 5-10 alts isn't usually the best strategy, probably better off just holding btc in cold storage instead. Last year's top alts looked quite a bit different than the current ones. Goal should be to find solid crypto projects (with a decent use case) across the various major sectors with a good r/r who seem most likely to make big moves over the next 12-24 months - with the exception of maybe using small amounts for daytrading, arbs, etc.

Many of these are currently sitting at or near lows. Always DYOR and make thoughtful, informed decisions. Lastly, be aware of counterparty risk and try to keep your coins under control of your (and yours alone) private keys as much as possible. These recent 51% attacks on a few smaller PoW alts have demonstrated financial risks that stretch as far as the exchanges themselves in many circumstances. Stay safe out there!

Wau little and i mean really little gains(7k to 7,7k) and you all optimistic again Well that is what they want hehe. I see it going to max 7,9xx than crashing badly again but predicting exact price is total gamble so i already have 2/3 of shorts opened with rest positioned if we do go higher. If i would have to predict when i would say Monday is when we start going down since lately weekends are small "uptrend" this bear market. We may go higher but to be bullish again price needs to go much higher.

Does anyone believe those idiots who predict that Bitcoin will reach 100k by end of 2018 or 1 Million by the 2020. I even read someone who said that by the end of June it will be 25k.

We can certainly see short-term dips, but at some point long-term mining profitability has to come into play - where 5000 is quite different than bouncing between 6500-8000ish. Hashrate peaked only about a week ago and already hearing some rumblings about the next halving, which is still many months away. We've seen pretty big moves both ways in very short amounts of time, the real losers from this have been those using too much leverage...and to a lesser extent those FOMO buying overpriced over-hyped alts(EOS, TRON anyone?) instead of putting in some work on gem-hunting the small-mid caps.

I think a guy on CNBC said the question of mining profitability becomes an issue at 5900.

He said the next "support" they were looking at was 6292.

Of course, in March, CNBC reported that $8038 was the profit line there.

I don't know but I can see the 6292 level being considered support by some.

It'll be interesting to see how the next 6-8 months plays out. I don't think we'll see much gain for a couple months yet. I still think the market is overpopulated with coins. There's well over 1600 different coins, 97% of them should be dead. There's no reason so many coins are needed, other than everybody trying to get rich.

I dumped Neo as it was suspended. My guess is they are updating their chain, didn’t have time for that to just sit idle.

JJ. That’s not how it works bud. Alt coins serve different functions on different platforms than Bitcoin. Different uses. You’ve got to educate yourself before shooting from the hip brother. You are missing out on money.
