Stick with a few of the top 50 coins...can't really go wrong (ETH, LTC, EOS, NEO, OMG, PPT, WTC). Maybe take a stab at a few up and comers like HPB and INT

I would probably stick $2-3K in ETH as it is the top altcoin and not going anywhere

From there, I would build a portfolio around solid alts like VEN, ZEN, and maybe something like UKG as well. Do your homework though. Look at their product/service and ask yourself if you see a future in it.

I remember I told my cousin who bought ETH @ 320 and it dropped to 180 to not even look at it till winter. BTC kingdom will endure a long slow grind till summer. Mass regulation is much needed

Not sure about the immediate effect on price...may not see a big bounce until after it goes live in late feb. Sign ups start this week. May certainly help LTC hold strong over next 10 days as corrrection winds down.

The next big move is a big spike. People waiting to see where the bottom is. Then first signals of a rally everyone will get back in.

I've noticed with Crypts that the gains happen very quickly, and the sell offs are gradual. I think we are at about the bottom of a 1.5 month down cycle.

The problem with sitting out, waiting for the bottom, is you'll miss the big spike when it hits. Least that is how XRP and BTC have been.

came a little later than I hoped, but finally got my questioned answered. This is what Charlie Lee exactly said on Dec.11 -

"Ok, sorry to spoil the party, but I need to reign in the excitement a bit... Buying LTC is extremely risky. I expect us to have a multi-year bear market like the one we just had where LTC dropped 90% in value ($48 to $4). So if you can't handle LTC dropping to $20, don't buy!"

I'm not saying anyone is purposefully meaning harm, but some are not careful/consistent with their posts. Just whatever pops into their head at any given moment. Do your own research.
