I built a telecom company almost 30 years ago that got bought out. Lost all of it in a series of WTF events. Started an engineering company winning state and government contracts, a promotions company and a Well intervention, completions/workover company. I've given my life story here (so many times guys give me shit lol). I just hope some can learn from my mistakes but not be afraid to make them.

I don’t know how much value there is with it being this recent. Sure you could get an extra 10% on your deals but you could short term lose quite a bit or wait and get a much better price. I wouldn’t be surprised if this thing springs way down. This is serious. Not just for how much business SK does, but how many new people to the space are going to panic sell as many of them are already in the hole being brand new to this.

The way I look at it is that when governments are so scared that they want to ban it, that just adds more validity in what's taking place. If you lived in Korea and had significant wealth, would you really trust that governments currency? If they banned it here in the US would you really give up your coins?

The way I look at it is that when governments are so scared that they want to ban it, that just adds more validity in what's taking place. If you lived in Korea and had significant wealth, would you really trust that governments currency? If they banned it here in the US would you really give up your coins?

Both solid points. However, not having local currencies definitetly makes it tougher, and I’m not sure how tough their government is on crime/how easy it is to bypass their laws with the internet etc everything is so easy here so it’s easy to assume it’s the same.

Lol it would be quite comical in 5 years if the us bans crypto and we start seeing people jailed for it.

I thought I bought ETH on CB a week ago. I checked and I bought BTC for some damn reason at 16k too. It completed today. Of course ETH went up big while BTC went down. The crypto Gods are very cruel right now. One thing I try to do is to look at the shares and not look at the prices. That helps when these coins are getting battered black and blue.

Hell, we jailed people for a lot less, like alcohol and marijuana self use. Nothing surprises me with this government. There's a lot of people in high places that are scared shitless that crypto is going to destroy their monopolies. They won't lay down without a fight. Several people in this thread said that coins were going to take a huge dump in the New Year. I didn't believe them.

Crypto market cap was almost $900 billion. It's now $660 Billion. It's given up $240 billion in a week and a half.
