This brings up something interesting I think we all have to wrestle with at one time or another. I think making a cash deposit to GDAX is probably free, right? On the other hand, one can also outright buy BTC, LTC, ETH or BCH at Coinbase, pay the 1.5% fee and wait the week or so for the transaction to complete. If the coin goes up, you've made money in the interim. If the coin goes down, you have lost money in the interim. It's a gamble.
