#4096You can buy as much as your credit card will allow of XRP at Bitstamp. Just make sure your bank knows ahead of time that your making an international purchase so it doesn't get flagged. The fees are pretty much the same as CoinBase but no limits. My bank also charges me an international fee for using the card for international purchases. All told it's about 6.5%. Not many choices if you want to buy right now. If you can wait, you can send money, even wire money and wait for it to settle. Credcards are immediate with fees.Comment -

#4098I'm still using Coinbase to get money into the "system". Buys and deposits from my bank are taking about 8-10 days, lately, at Coinbase. I made several purchases on Friday at Coinbase and they haven't hit my bank yet (writing this early Wednesday morning). They are promised to arrive by Saturday. We'll see. So far, they haven't let me down....just slow.
For me, Ether is the way of the world over at Binance. Using Ether to buy alt-coins at Binance. Cheaper fees. Ether seems to be solid as a rock and a good investment in it's own right.
Ripple is rippling along ($2.41)..... the rumors might be true.....Comment -

#4099Originally posted by JAKEPEAVY21I think NEO is really going to blast off this year...
The past few days I was trying to tighten up my portfolio and cut out some of the fat...more than doubled my position in NEO in the process.
Can you give me a list of your top 10 cryptos for 2018, shocka?
Same here. Verge has been stagnant, more than doubled my small position so sold and added more ADA and TRX. New year starting off with a bang

It's gotten stupid how much money I've got invested in alt coins now.
Some other ones I like are OMG, KCS and TRIG.
Some ones that are further down the list I like are DeepBrain Chain(DBC) and Tezos (XTZ)Comment -

The market is too high right now. I would only sell at this point.

#4117Lots of bitching about different exchange's performance. Reminds me of 35 years ago when as a customer of IBM's large mainframe computers we were having performance problems. So we gathered a bunch of performance and tuning data and shipped the tapes off to an IBM lab. We then went there a few days later and the technical guru entered the room with his verdict. It's simple he says, your performance is bad because you're trying to shove 10 pounds of sh*t in a 5 pound bag. I guess the exchanges built 5 pound bags and then the world discovered cryptocurrencies.Comment -

#4118Yes, but which ones? There are over 1,000 cryptocurrencies out there. Each has a good story to tell about this or that problem they are going to solve with their coin. And they have some smart people behind them. But the world doesn't need a thousand different coins, so the very vast majority will go to zero. The winners will be chosen by the individual votes of 10's of millions of users from around the world based on what they choose to use. And only a handful of these will have read the slick internet documentation behind each coin.Originally posted by shocka1212Not AllComment -

#4119do your due diligence on anything before you invest in it.. Same way all NFL teams have the same amount of talent but yet there are a certain few that always seem to be winning, its all about the driving force (coaching=engineering team). Not trying to make that analogy, but its no secret that if you have the right creative minds driving the technology, its going to go places. Not just about chasing the wave.. ripple has gone on quite the run yet I still wouldn't touch it with a 10ft pole. TRX has some people from Alibaba on their team, ADA has some people from the original bitcoin team on their team and are looking to correct the scaling issues that BTC and ETH have had. its all about having the right team in place taking the necessary steps to making the most of what they have.Originally posted by BsimsYes, but which ones?
