why ? What the ref did is part of the game, if a ref cant see a puck its called dead
happens all throughout the year ?

Plus , the announcers said the refs were giving calls Preds way on penalties and lack there of against them

He called it immediately. If he waits one second like his job entails then it is a goal. There was no scrum around the goalie. He had 0 reason to call it immediately off a pad save. That's not his job, at all. He didn't even skate in. Even his counterparts were embarrassed.

That's what people don't seem to get. This is the NHL Finals, and it was ruined. Any sports fan who wants integrity in any game should be pissed. Especially when it's for a Championship, Trophy, or whatever.

It sucks when one of the longest running championships is tarnished because an officiating call determined the outcome.

They stopped multiple power plays and even a 5 on 3 ,
they sacrificed their bodies all game to block shots

And they did all this in enemy territory

Won the Stanley Cup 4 games to 2 ....

Shut Nashville out for the last 6 periods of play

Id say they deserved to win lol

Murray can't get the Conn Smythe because he didn't play the first two series and he stunk in two games (the two losses). Tonight he might he had the shutout, and was good, but frankly got a little lucky. I thought he was good, not great. Please remember, this isn't the NBA where they give the trophy to the MVP of the Finals, this is the playoff MVP trophy.

Malkin would have had it but he disappeared in the last two rounds. Kessel didn't have nearly as good a playoff this year as in 2016. They didnt have any Cinderella story from any of their pluggers.

Crosby was an easy default and imo was really the only choice.

Pens weren't overly impressive tonight,the Pens got all the calls in game 5 anyway,so their even on that one.

I was on the Pens because they can win games that they shouldn't. They did it in every single round this year...in fact 11 of their 16 wins they were substantially outplayed. It isn't how it looks, it's the scoresheet at the end of the game.

That's fine, your opinion. He can beat himself up all he wants, but shouldn't ref again. Stick to his day job. I don't think they tilted towards to the Preds as much as people think. Those were legit penalties.

Nashville missed great chances, yes. They were going against a brick wall, and finally break through. Then it's taken away. One of the biggest game changing calls in NHL history. Everyone but the ref standing in the corner could see it was a live puck.

He did a terrible job, and changed the game. It is what it is. I'm over it, as I didn't have anything on it. Just like to see a fair one especially in the damn Finals. I'll sleep fine tonight with a couple pills, and who knows how many more shots. I'm happy for you. Good hit man.
