Those 2 plays that cost them game wernt even considered errors! So it actually even worse than you would think. I don't see Oakland enough but I have a hard time believing anyone plays worse defense than us! Between the errors, lack of range at so many positions, lack of arm strength, and simply boneheaded plays think cards take the cake! They do same thing on offense running the bases, just a reduculous amount of pathetic base running mistakes! The fact they .500 is a testament to how great the starting pitching has been cause the bats, manager, fielding, and pen that of a cellar dwellers!!

I can't say enough that they are even worse than what errors suggest. I'm sure there some defensive metrics now days that may help measure their ineptitude but I don't really get into those.

Just curious if there anything quantifying how many plays they don't make that are not considered errors? Those 2 what should have been fly outs that cost them game today were not considered errors!

Lack of range all over the field. Not good when you talking bout a team who's organizational philosophy on pitching has always been pitching to contact to get quick at bats with weak contact..
